Mentoring Booking Form
Emma Steiner Photography offers one on one mentoring based on an individual’s needs. Individual quotes are based on what type of teaching is being given and will be agreed upon before signing this contract.
First hour $299 + GST
Subsequent hours based on $250 + GST p/hr
Types of mentoring provided consists of (but is not limited to):
Camera settings + Lighting
Newborn posing + safety
Workflow + retouching
Going into Business
One on one mentoring requires a $200 retaining deposit which is due at the time of submitting this contract to secure your mentoring spot. This covers Emma Steiner Photography’s preparation time and securing live model/s for your session.
The remainder of the agreed fee is due to be paid 7 days prior the mentoring session commences.
Mentoring Terms and Conditions
1. Equipment: The Mentee is responsible for providing their own DSLR camera unless agreed otherwise. A laptop with Adobe Photoshop and Bridge access is also recommended if opting to learn post processing but not essential if you already have foundational knowledge.
2. Agreed Date and Deposit: Once a date for the mentoring session has been agreed upon by both parties, Emma Steiner Photography will reserve this date and time for your session. For this reason Emma Steiner Photography requires at least 48 hours’ notice for any changes to this agreed date and time. Failure to provide this notice period, the mentee forfeits their retaining deposit. Changes within the notice period may transfer this deposit to another date within 6 months of the original session date, subject to availability.
3. Payment: The Mentee agrees that the $200.00 retainer is required at the time of booking with the remainder of the quoted fee is due 7 days prior to the mentoring session commencement.
4. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: The Mentee understands that all materials, including but not limited to, price lists, contracts, actions, documents, agreements, and other information or documents that are given to them in the course of the mentorship are the exclusive property of the Emma Steiner Photography and are privileged and confidential information. The Mentee shall not disclose, share or duplicate this information whether for compensation or not.
5. Limit of Liability: In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies where Emma Steiner Photography is unable to mentor on the agreed date, Emma Steiner Photography will provide notice to the Mentee as soon as practicable. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement date is not found, liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the mentoring session.
6. Recording: The mentee shall not capture the mentoring session in any capacity, including but not limited to voice recording and video recording. Emma Steiner Photography does allow for behind-the-scenes still-photography to occur.
7. Special Requests: Any special requests you have for your mentoring session need to be provided to Emma Steiner Photography in writing at least 48 hours before the mentoring session commences.
8. Right of Withdrawal: Emma Steiner's discovery of new information, changes to agreed circumstances, or other factors which tends to bypass its policies may result in its withdrawal. Non-cooperation; changes in locations, facilities or available times; missed appointments and late payments are examples of contributing factors. Should Emma Steiner initiate the withdrawal, all fees will be returned, excluding the deposit.
