This wasn't your typical wedding, it was one epic celebration! Starting the day off lakeside at Oar & Paddle with the girls it was super chill. Two very handsome little boys arrived soon after in their tiny tuxedos and melted the hearts of all, children + tuxedos = the cutest thing you will ever see!
Next stop was Takapoto Estate near Cambridge for nuptials and to kick off the festivities. Lawn games, canapes, wine pairing, a rather loud card game as well as the traditional speeches and cake cutting were all on the agenda for the day. Cam & Georgia planned to spend as much of the day with their guests which meant we quickly snapped just a couple of images of the bridal party before they joined their family and friends for the remainder of the afternoon before dinner. The party was well and truly started when I left so I can only imagine the celebrations which went well into the night! Thanks for having me along guys, I'm so pleased our paths crossed! The 19th Feb marked the day when these two made it officially official and what a day it was!
Marrying at the place where they first met surrounded by their family, friends, race mates and a few lawnmowers (one of which was mistakenly started up mid-ceremony by the rather adorable ring bearer). The ceremony was heartfelt, I don't think there was a dry eye in the park when the families united as one - It's pretty hard to see through the camera lens whilst wiping tears (just saying). The onions however were an interesting touch, one that Kelly wasn't overly pleased about when the boys whipped them out but they had everyone going! Together you laughed, loved, shared tears and a few sneaky kisses. Congratulations to you both, thanks for having me along for the ride. I met up with the girls at a local hair salon, The Ginger Fox which was their base for the morning. It's always a bonus when you don't have to run around to several locations on your big day and can just take it all in with wine + your girl gang.
Together with their two children and surrounded by friends and family, Karl & Isla tied the knot. They chose a simply stunning venue, The Hall which sets the tone for a relaxed and chilled celebration underneath the oak tree. It was a neat vibe amongst the guests and an all-round incredible day. Thanks for having me along to capture the fun!
An absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful wedding! Tash and Chris were married at The Red Barn on Friday 29th November and I was lucky enough to capture this special day for them both.
I have known Tash for over 15 years so to be there with her every step of the way on Friday was such a privilege. Chris, you have really struck gold! I have been sitting here for half an hour trying to put the right words together but still have nothing. I guess that's why I tell stories with images rather than words.
On Saturday I witnessed and captured two people becoming Husband and Wife. The day started in our home town of Morrinsville which is where they also call home, the beauty of a small town means I could quickly jump from the boys place to the girls and capture them both preparing for the day. Ryan and Kayla had chosen The Hall Wedding Venue which is close to home in the small rural district of Manawaru for the ceremony and celebrations afterwards; which was truly the perfect spot. From here I will let the images tell the story.... you will see the happiness, the tears and the love that was shared on such an incredible day. Congratulations Ryan and Kayla! On the last day of March, at the beautiful Sarnia Park located near Cambridge, these two become Mr & Mrs Corrigan. The day was enjoyed by many, the children were excited and everyone relaxed in the afternoon sun. It couldn't have been more perfect.
For me, the day started with the girls who were enjoying a few wines as they prepared for the day ahead. From there I headed to the venue to meet the boys and all the children who were up in the lodge at Sarnia Park. Every single one of the children were absolutely incredible, the below images only tell a portion of the story but you can see from the wee 'pre-ceremony huddle' to the girls carrying Shannan's dress back afterwards how beautiful these little souls are. Last weekend Rebecca and Earl tied the knot at The Laughing Peacock located in Orini, near Morrinsville. This local venue has an incredible clearing for the ceremony which was sheltered from the hot afternoon sun.
I started the day off with time in Te Aroha photographing the boys getting ready, filling the flasks and the random happenings of the morning. A quick trip over to Morrinsville I found the girls chilling out with a wine at a local motel, the atmosphere was super chilled - they seemed a little less stressed than their male counterparts, we had a little giggle over ths but shhhhh, don't tell the boys! |
