On the morning of the first day of December my children noticed this little parcel had arrived under the Christmas tree. On closer inspection it looked like a delivery from Santa and sure enough when they opened the box we found an elf named Sparkle. She had been sent from the North Pole and was staying with us for the 24 days leading up to Christmas. Her job was to watch over the children and report back to Santa each night while they slept. Santa had included a note that warned us she was known to get up to mischief, he was spot on and her antics made everyone giggle! Each morning when the children woke they would search the house to find her in usual situations. It wasn't long before her friend made an appearance and we had TWO elves in the house, one to watch over each child! Word on the street is that this only happens when a child misbehaves and Santa sends a back up elf....eeeekkk!! On Christmas Eve she flew back home with Santa after he had delivered the gifts to our home, we are unsure whether we will see her again this year or not. I heard she was working in the workshop wrapping gifts so we may see one of her fellow elf friends...
